This week we talk to two excellent Gunsmiths.
First is Denny Reichard Sand Burr Gun Ranch who specializes in the Smith & Wesson revolver. He is the owner in Rochester, Indiana. A great place to shoot, buy guns, get guns fixed or just hang out. This interview was done in an open barn so please try to ignore the annoying bird.
We also talk to Ray Saltzman who specializes in the 1911 and high performance rifles. He can be reached at:

We also talked briefly with a representative from ATK about the current ammo shortage back in April when we were at the ILEETA conference, seems like not much has changed since then.

A discussion about ammunition selection for personal defense. Each member of the ProArms team talks about what ammo they have chosen to carry and why. Also a sneak peek at a new gun under development by Ed Brown, too bad we didn’t have this one for episode 014, our discussion of the high quality 1911 handgun.

This week The ProArms Team tackles the “High-End” 1911 Pistol. You know which ones they are, the ones we all covet. Well. between us we managed to get together a bunch of them and review and discuss their virtues. After we recorded this episode we found out that the Morris Custom Pistol the we opened the show with now goes for $10,000 not the $6,000 we estimated it at.
Once again this episode is rich with links so I will post them all here:
Les Baer
Bar-Sto
Ed Brown
Clark Custom Guns
Colt
Guncrafters Industries
Dave Lauck
Morris Custom Pistols
Nighthawk
Springfield
Wilson Combat
In addition we talked about our Sabre Defense AR-15s that some of us seem to think are appropriate BBQ Guns.
Herman gives us a little post-election insight about supporting our Pro-gun organizations. They need our help and support now more than ever. Consider joining or extending your memberships in those national groups and find your local groups and join them if you are not a member already. The ones that Herman mentioned were:
National Rifle Association
Gun Owners of America
Second Amendment Foundation
Unified Sportsmen of Florida
